347H Stainless Steel Plate contains a higher carbon (0.04 – 0.10) version of the Stainless Steel. SS UNS S34709 Plates are good for enhanced creep resistance and for higher strength at temperatures above 1000°F (537°C). For imperial weight calculations of SS 347H sheet and SS 347H plate certain measurements (fractions) need to be converted to decimal inches. For an accurate calculation, it is also important to allow for the rolling tolerance which affects the thickness and the cutting tolerances which affect the width and length.
